Dave is a famous Indian Abstract Expressionist. Generally considered one of India's greatest 20th century artists, he was a member of the influential Lalit Kala Akademi and the Sahitya Kala Parishad, and was awarded the fourth highest Indian civilian honour of Padma Shri by the Indian Government. He exhibited worldwide and his works are represented in major public and private collections worldwide.
