Aldridge is a respected Australian painter and set designer. He has done private commissions for murals, portraits and figurative paintings, as well as designing costumes for ballets. He also exhibits in group shows. This mural on canvas is the largest work we have at Belle Epoque, measuring over 3.5m wide across three panels. It was commissioned for mansion in Adelaide, and I flew there to personally wrap it for transportation. It took a while of intense research to locate the original inspirations for this piece, but managed in the end to succeed!! Most are based off original costume designs from the legendary, Leon Bakst.
