Faerber is considered one of Australia's leading lithographers since the 1970s. Having trained under Desiderius Orban, John Olsen & John Ogburn from the 1940s, she won a scholarship in 1967 to to attend the Pratt Graphics Center, New York, where she developed techniques of spray paint lithography which would revolutionize the medium in Australia. From 1964, Faerber held more than 35 solo exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, New Zealand & London. She also participated in several International exhibitions in Japan, Germany, Sweden, Israel & the United Kingdom. Faerber's works are represented in all Major Australian National Galleries, and significant private collections including BHP, Transfield, Artbank & Thyssen-Bornemisza.
