Bartlett is a forgotten Australian Painter & Illustrator. She was born in Perth, but relocated to Sydney to study at the Julian Ashton Art School. Here she was aquainted with the likes of Adrian Feint and Dorrit Black.  Following her studies, Bartlett focussed on Australian botanical and fauna studies, many of which were commissioned for publications and calendars. Her speciality was her ornithology works, in particular her kookaburras. Her work follows in the tradition of Australian artists such as John Gould, Neville William Cayley & Neville Cayley Jr. Her work is very rare, and in high demand.
